Abstract

It is an experience report in the construction of the police-educator on the didactics point of view as part of the pedagogy that deals with the scientific precepts that guide the educational activity in order to make it more efficient. For the purposes of this article, the experience was spent in the construction of the so-normative thinking for didactics applied in the teaching of the Military Police of the State of Rio Grande do Norte - PMRN from 2017, date of the first group of Didactics Applied to Public Security. It is a contribution in the verticalization of the discussion about the training of the police officer as an educator. The context of violence in contemporary times requires the police-educator constant updating of their teaching methodologies in order to foster a better learning and qualitative training of graduates of training and improvement courses in police corps.
