VIOLENT LETHAL INTENTIONAL CRIME IN SALVADOR, BAHIA: AN EVALUATION OF THE RESULTS

Abstract

Assessing performance is important for the public administration. The purpose of this research was through the use of statistical tests, time-series analysis and statistical process control, comparing the results of public security in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. The research uses the data on violent lethal intentional crime, made available at internet by the security service, for the years 2014/2017. It was concluded that the public security policies kept his standard of correct answers, regardless of change to socio-economic and environmental conditions in the period.
