Abstract

The article suggests the bases of the ideological exemption, scientific rigor and intellectual freedom adopted the values ​​of the Brazilian Institute of Public Security, from a view of Brazilian public security outside the right-left key, refuting sociological positivism (naturalism) and the idealism, adopting the postulates of Aristotelian-Thomist Metaphysics, as a theoretical alternative capable of responding to what is not being successful in the academic community.
